great maps, i am wondering if you would be able to do such maps for the major cities of NC and SC?
charlotte NC/rock hill SC, the raleigh-durham triangle; greensboro, winston-salem, highpoint(the triad), columbia SC, charelston SC, and perhaps greenville SC…
the reason im asking is that i am a member of a carolinas shooting forum with over 1000 members and i know that a lot of these guys would be very interested in this information…

Great piece of research!
My wife and I are avid shooters and life members of the NRA. We also belong to an outdoor rifle and pistol club in Las Vegas, NV. We have bought a Bushmaster AR15 .223, an old Soviet made AK47 7.62×39, a Khar Arms .30 caliber carbine and a DPMS .308 Winchester built on an AR15 frame within the last 90 days. Why the chain-driven rush to acquire all these “instruments of death” you ask. The very simple reason is that if Senator Obama is elected president in November of this year, which appears almost certain, we are going to see laws much more restrictive than the Clonton assault weapons ban of the 1990s. If Senator Obama’s record in the Illinois State Senate is any indication of his prospective national legislative agenda, all law abiding gun owners are in deep trouble. The fact is that Senator Obama never saw a piece of gun control [read, gun ban] legislation that didn’t cause him to have an erection.
