your efforts have been paying off and Trudi made it through last night without any additional swelling!!! this was just the hump we needed to get over. so thank you again, it worked!!!!
she has shown some major improvement today and will continue. at this point she is still on the ventilator but should be off within a day or two and breathe on her own. our next challenge may be with her lungs, but let’s cross that bridge when we get there.
she has been awake, she has responded to neurological exams very well and she has communicated with Bob through hand gestures. she is paralyzed on her left side. but you know what, that’s better than the alternative. we are so happy that she is still here.
