Trudi is in surgery at this monent having the craniectomy????? otomy??? and it will take two hours. Th

e meds they were giving her to prevent the swelling started to raise her sodium levels too high so they had to quit giving them and the pressure built dangerously. Elizabeth is at the airport and will be flying home and will be inthe air when the surgery is complete. all prayers and thoughts for outcome.

has made it through the craniectomy with minimal bleeding, now the brain can swell out of her head rather than trapped in the skull. Her husband, Bob, said that since she made it through the surgery, there is hope/ She will be in neuro ICU for a few days then back to cardiac ICU
