You’re told not to use flammable liquids in ultrasonic cleaners; don’t do what I do. I bought a gallon of WD40 to use for cleaning, and it’s great.
One thing I noticed is that it heats up really quickly – before, I was using ATF or brake fluid and it never got warm. Water eventually heats up; within 480 seconds, WD40 is well and truly warm.
