A spoiled Ice Cream Sandwich
Got refurb Kindle Fire, rooted it, installed a couple different ICS builds, it was total garbage, have installed stock roms. Total time in ICS: under six hours.
If you read the forums, it’s all rah-rah; my experience was stuttering displays and several crashes on swipe-to-unlock. Garbage.
Undercrown
I went to the Union Cigar Society last night for the reddit Seattle herf; while on my way to the barge, I stopped in to see what wares were available. I picked up a couple Undercrowns, as they are currently the fashionable, over-hyped stick from Drew Estate. It was, per usual, a well-constructed cigar with a nice, even burn and an unremarkable flavor profile throughout. I don’t get the hype; to be fair, I bought two, so I’ll let the second one rest for a while and revisit it to see if I change my mind.
The barge on Lake Union is nice. If it weren’t so far out of the way, I’d stop by more often to burn a couple down and enjoy the view; as it is, once or twice a month will have to do.
