I’m sure it’s a crime here, too
Riding in a car, driver waves gun around: passengers face arrest? Sure, it’s France, but I’m not sure the story ends much differently here. I’m sure they’d charge everyone in the car with felony jerkass, or they’d sprinkle some crack on everyone if it was an especially luxe ride.
I will bring rain gear and slop boots;
that will not ease my frustration with the ten day forecast.
You can overload a shotgun
Pictures of the rapid disassembly of a Mossberg shotgun, plus the wounds generated by such. Folks, if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t reload. I don’t know why this wax reloading thing has taken off – I don’t even know why shotguns are even seriously talked about for HD. An AR15 gives you 31 saving rolls against critical; you don’t even have to shuck it.
If you’re gonna comment that I should worry about over-penetration, don’t: I keep a 50 BMG loaded with 6 rounds of AP as my fallback rifle.
ANN
Against it’s many weaknesses, one strong point for arfcom is this: experts everywhere. The thread goes from 48 hour warning of severe weather to photos of the aftermath, with plenty of SMEs providing framing (“I used to work in that building, what you’re seeing is …” type stuff).
Plenty of bitching to skip through, but it seems for breaking news, ar15.com always has someone right there, taking pictures and reporting from the event.
This is even more worrying than the chemical thing
your outlook on life may be purely biological. I don’t want to believe that the flora of your digestive tract dominate your mind, but there it is.
Chest deep hail?
With pictures, no less. There’s a link in there to pictures of 15′ hail accumulations in New Mexico in 2004. I didn’t know such things happened!
