Finally got everything lined up, squared away, and the like; assembled my night vision scope, using a spare 50mm Nikon 1.8 lens.

I guess I know where no small amount of money will be going next year – got to build a better rig! For a couple hundred dollars, this is an awesome scope; however, once you’ve had a little taste, the desire for higher performance is overwhelming. Next build will be something Gen 3-ish, which will about double the price.
