A bad day at the range
Project Sparky was a failure, as was Project Nitrogen. This means we don’t have electrical detonation of boomers, which means (right now) no computer-controlled displays. Dammit.
Furthermore, while my pistol worked fine, the ammo did not. I will be contacting the manufacturer to see what’s what, but given the price point, I was fairly annoyed. My video camera’s iris died, meaning the video I needed from today wasn’t captured. My Nikon is frequently giving me error codes r12 and r13 when I try take pictures; I changed lenses to no avail. I missed several shots last night when the camera display just flashed, like the camera was rebooting.
Good news is tubular targets worked, so we’ll be able to provide 1.5″ wide by 4′ long targets. I look forward to putting some on the hill next year.
