On that “new” media
The stories, reported widely, that China is pissed at the US Embassy for tweeting air quality in Beijing every hour all had one commonality: they didn’t link to the twitter feed. The NY Times linked to twitter, but most of the other articles I could find only mentioned Twitter by name. Good grief, hyperlinks have only existed for 20+ years now, how long until newspaper websites get on board?
