Flat left, maybe
This is a great video for showing the interplay between the navigator and the driver in a rally car; the navigator is reading several notes ahead, while the driver keeps up. Please note some of the “easy left maybes” where the car is going over 100 with the wheel at full opposite lock – easy left, my ass. Ari Vatanen plays to the crowd as well, with a fist pump and a wave or two for the spectators.
Even with nerves of steel, sometimes, the navigator expresses an emotion; Ari drives the rest of the stage with a flat tire. Yowza.
