My de facto employer had a web outage today; you might have seen it on the news. The trouble ticket documenting the issue was forwarded around internally; popular reading, to the point that it took the ticketing system out (you got a nice red banner at the top telling you about the ticketing outage, with a link to a ticket documenting the ticketing outage). Very meta.

I’m just a caveman. Your modern ways are strange to me, and frightening. I know not about this “ticketing system” of which you speak. Stone knives and bearskins are the standards in my world. Please get me another gin and tonic, with lime, and with fresh tonic this time (last time it was flat) or I’m going to start breaking things!
